Amelia was the first agreed upon
A promise of garnered dreams
That she, a figment, of young minds
Should come to pass with ease
Amelia my epithet of that to come
No you’re not a woman
Nor living breathing thing
But ah a future ringing bright
Held by lovers’ dreams
Amelia you were a concept
That beguiled our hopeful minds
Twisted lust to something more
- a ode to future time

A work in progress, but I like the way its coming along, it may end up being a simple short poem.... eh I'll decide late if I like that way it is now.
